OK I got this new acer laptop, its dual core 2.0 ghz, 2 GB of RAM, Vista Premium, but the video card is up to 700 MB shared.
What new games would I be able to run decently? I know Crisys is not even an option, but would Bioshock or Farcry 2 work? WHat about Gears of WAR?

it depends if you are using intel GMA or dedicated graphic card..
but even if you are using GMA you can play farcry 2 with mediam and low settings. even the crisys will work on your laptop.. but in low setting.
i am using DELL 1520 with 2gb ram and c2d 1.5gh,vista home and nvidia 128mb card.(which shares 830+mb memory).. and farcry 2 and bioshock is working fine with advanced shadow option off.. means i am not able to play with sunlight and shadow feature on
. but without shadow and sunlight both games are working fine.. and i am getting 24frames/sec. 
go to canirunit.com on your laptop, scroll down to the game and it will scan your pc and give u a report of if u can or can not run a game. Its wonderful.
