There was a little bit of buzz that World of Warcraft creator Blizzard might finally announce its newest online role playing game at its Blizzcon convention in Anaheim, Calif. this year. Paul Sams, chief operating officer of Blizzard, took the stage at the closing ceremony of Blizzcon 2010 to finally put the rumors to bed. Blizzard didn’t disappoint, “announcing” a number of new games at the closing ceremony of Blizzcon 2010 just before Tenacious D took the stage. Whether fans were pleased with the announcements is a completely different story altogether.
Jackpot Games nominated for prestigious e-Gaming Review Award
PRESS RELEASE – Jackpot Games announced today that it has been shortlisted for the One to Watch award from the online gaming magazine, E-Gaming Review, after the publication released the list of candidates on the 20th of October.

Today as a warm-up to the actual Tokyo Game Show 2010, EA and Capcom started of with a pre-TGS press conference and showed of some of their awesome new games, previously unannounced. There are some new games, some controversial, some really awesome. So take a look and I will be back with the other press conferences recaps as well.

Yea, Pokémon Sunday airs on TV Tokyo in Japan on Sunday morning from 7.30am to 8.30am. Here’s the Link where Nintendo announced their plans for 2010: www.nintendo.co.jp Nintendo wrote: “I’d like to introduce you to another new Pokémon title, which should become one of the most anticipated Nintendo DS titles for this year. The Pokémon Company International and Nintendo have been developing a new Pokémon title with the aim to launch the software this year. The cumulative global sales of all the Pokémon series software have reached 130 million. This new Pokémon software will become the first brand new Pokémon title in 4 years since Pokémon Diamond and Pearl, which sold more than 5.8 million units in Japan, was launched. Of course, this totally new Pokémon title will include new fields of adventure and a number of new Pokémons living there. The official announcement form the Japanese TV show, ‘Pokemon Sunday’. Revealing the two remakes of the original GameBoy Colour titles, PKMN Gold & Silver. A short clip of the new games is also shown. Both of the new DS games will be released late this year in Japan and Q1 of 2010 in the US and Europe.
